Dip Dip Dive is an independent production company putting power in the hands of filmmakers. Supporting writers, directors, and creators in their journey from conception to completion, Dip Dip Dive offers creative, developmental, and financial support to passionate, visionary filmmakers.

Our Belief:

Great stories come from great storytellers, from lives well lived and deeply examined, from embodied experience, hard-won wisdom, and skin rubbed raw in the game. There are no shortcuts, no algorithms, no copy-paste prompts that can capture and express what it means to be human. To express ourselves meaningfully, and speak deeply to our audience, requires great courage and conviction, and we as creators earn that right breath by breath in our wild, living bodies. At Dip Dip Dive, the scuffed up patina of an artist’s point of view is the treasure at the bottom of the well. We dive deep for it, we guard it fiercely, we raise it up to share it with the world, inspiring others to do the same. We believe in the inherent value of human stories, and champion the artists who are willing to go deep.

Lily Cowles

Raised in a haunted house deep in the woods of Connecticut, Lily’s creative interests have always revolved around meaning making and the intoxicating combination of the corporeal and the spiritual in story telling. Her work in the entertainment industry spans two decades as an actor, writer, and producer, across film (CORPUS; ANTEBELLUM), television (ROSWELL, NM; SECRET LEVEL), documentary (THE VIETNAM WAR; MAZIONE), and video games (CALL OF DUTY; EXODUS). Her short film TOOTHLESS, which she wrote, produced, and stars in premiered at Another Hole in the Head Festival in 2024, and her feature film CORPUS, which she co-wrote, produced, and stars in begins its festival run at Fantasia, July 2026. Cowles is a certified Emergency First Responder and once again lives in the haunted house deep in the woods of Connecticut.
